Its that time of year again. Motorama '12 registration is now open. Motorama will have the same format as last year with fairies, ants, beetles, hobbies, 15lb educational/iQ, featherweights and sportsman.

REGISTRATION: Closes 12/31/11
Simply put if we have not received your paperwork and payment by then, you will not be allowed to participate.

To register to fight you will need to complete the following paperwork:

NERC Liability Form

Motorama Release Form

NERC Safety Form

(This form should not be mailed. Bring it with you to the event with 1 form for each robot)

CRITICAL REMINDER: For participants under the age of 18 the Motorama liability form must be Notarized or your registration will not be approved.

Registration also requires the following fees:
Fairy (150 grams) - $22
Ant (1 lb)- $22
Beetle (3lbs) - $33
Hobby (12 lbs) - $45
Educational/iQ (15 lbs) - $45
Feather (30 lbs) - $60
Sportsman (30 lbs) - $60


Parking costs an additional $16
additional pit passes $40 each

Same rules as last year:
2 Pit Passes are allowed per team at the maximum.
One bot per class gets you one pass.

Example:
One bot and 2 crew members only gets you only one pass.
Two bots and 2 crew members gets you two passes.
3 bots and 3 crew members gets you only two passes.

The following battery types are not restricted at any venues or in any weight classes:
Lithium iron phosphate, LiFePO4, LiFe, brand example - A123
Non polymer lithium-ion, brand example - Emoli
Nickel cadmium, NiCd
Nickel-metal hydride, NiMH
Sealed lead acid, SLA

Allowed or restricted battery types may change at NERC’s discretion as battery technologies evolve.
